FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a blow molded product made from a composition comprising at least 75.0 % by weight of a propylene copolymer (R-PP), and to the use of a propylene copolymer (R-PP) to improve the impact-stiffness balance and/or the appearance factor of the blow molded bottle product. Copolymer of propylene contains from 4.0 to less than 14.0 mole % of comonomer, selected from ethylene, C4–C12 α-olefin or mixtures thereof. In addition, propylene copolymer (R-PP) has MFR2 melt flow rate (230 °C) from more than 2.0 to 12.0 g / 10 min, melting temperature in the range from 125 °C to less than 143 °C, and the content of the fraction soluble in cold xylene (XCS) in the range from 18.0 to 36.0 % by weight.
EFFECT: blow molded products have very good impact properties along with an improved bottle appearance factor (BAF) of a blow molded product, such as an extruded blow molded product (EBM).
