SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household items, namely, to the surfaces of a worktable or a hob of electric cookers. Protective cover is made of a woven fabric formed by interlocking the main and weft yarns from impregnated inorganic fibers, namely basalt, glass and / or silica fibers. Edges of the lining are treated with an edge seam with a stitching of the glass. Content of lubricant in the web is 0.01-0.05% by weight, and the surface density of the web is at least 210±20 g / m2. Invention makes it possible to solve the problem of expanding the arsenal of technical means designed to protect the surface (working table, hob) of electric cookers from contamination and mechanical damage.
EFFECT: technical result is the protection of the surface of electric cookers from contamination and mechanical damage.
