FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of storage of Jerusalem artichoke tubers is to mow the leaf-mass, dig out tubers, dispatch layer-by-layer for storage in stationary storages. In the compartment, lined with a polyethylene film, are laid alternately the layers of milled peat about 30–40 cm high and the rhizomatous part of Jerusalem artichoke with tubers and soil about 50–60 cm high, the top layer – peat. Above the compartment is covered with acrylic material from all sides and its edges are pressed to the ends along the perimeter of the compartment.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the preservation of Jerusalem artichoke tubers.
