FIELD: coal mining.
SUBSTANCE: method for developing a thick shallow seam with the release of coal from the under-roofing layer includes excavation of coal in the working face of the undercut layer by a combine, transportation of broken coal along the face with a scraper face conveyor, support of the working space by powered support sections connected by moving jacks with the grate of the scraper face conveyor and the release of coal from the under-roofing layer on the scraper face conveyor. Each section of the grate stack of the scraper face conveyor is equipped with an additional board with a chute for cable laying and a window for passing coal. When coal is mined by a combine in the undercut layer, the windows in the additional sides of all sections of the pan bar of the scraper face conveyor are closed, and when coal is released from the under-roofing layer, windows are opened in the additional boards of only those sections of the pan bar of the scraper face conveyor that are connected by moving jacks to sections of mechanized support, through which coal is released. The grate line of the scraper face conveyor contains hinged sections welded from a profile. Each section is equipped with an additional board with a window for passing coal from the side of the mined-out space of the face and a chute for laying the cable. The sections are connected by jacks to the powered support sections. The length of the pan bar section is assumed to be equal to the width of the powered support section. On the additional board of each section of the pan bar, from the bottom side under the chute and above the window, a rotary hydraulic motor is installed, hydraulically connected to the hydraulic system of the powered support section, with which this section of the pan bar is connected by shifting jacks, and the shaft of the rotary hydraulic motor is rigidly connected to the gate, the area of which is not less than area of this window.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of development of a thick flat formation.
