SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hand cutting tool with an adjustable rotary system. Cutting tool comprises a first handle rotatably connected to the first cutting member and having a first set of protrusions, and a second handle connected to the second cutting member and having a second set of protrusions. Second handle is movably connected to the first handle, the handles are movable between a fully open position and a fully closed position. When moving from the fully open position to the fully closed position, the first and second sets of protrusions at least partially cooperate to rotate the first handle relative to the first cutting member.

EFFECT: as a result, the applied force is reduced when cutting.
