SUBSTANCE: garden cutting tool contains elements of power drive for transfer of mechanical energy to cutting unit, including first and second elements, by means of which interaction cutting process is carried out, wherein at least the first element working edge is made cutting, and it is rotatable relative to the second element about the rotation axis, which is shifted by the value S into the half-space of the first element relative to the plane passing through extreme points of the working cutting edge of the first element normally to the plane its rotation, wherein value of displacement S, equal to distance from axis of rotation of first element to straight line passing through extreme points of working cutting edge of first element, satisfies condition S ≥ 0.38⋅R, mm, where R is radius of far extreme point of first element working cutting edge, relative to its rotation axis, mm.

EFFECT: providing minimum damage to the living structure of cutting objects by improving cutting quality, reducing the angular size of the mouth in the open position, reducing the angle of extrusion of the cutting object from the mouth, increasing the service life of the blade of the cutting blade and reducing cutting forces.
