SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coding of audio data. Decoding device comprises decoding module for decoding the audio data of a plurality of channels, a data reading module indicating whether to use the audio data of a specific channel for downmixing and downmix information indicating any of a number of downmix techniques. In this case, each of the methods is configured to calculate the audio data of the second number of channels based on the audio data of the first number of channels in accordance with various mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in obtaining a high-quality realistic sound when downmixing multi-channel audio data.
