FIELD: environmental protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articles for processing combustion exhaust gases, in particular to a filtering article and an exhaust gas processing system. Filtering article contains: (a) a non-passivated ceramic flow-through filter comprising a porous substrate having an inlet and an outlet sides; and (b) an SCR catalytic composition applied on at least one of the following places: the inlet side of the porous substrate, the outlet side of the porous substrate and between the said inlet and outlet sides, wherein the said catalytic composition comprises crystals of a molecular sieve promoted by a transition metal, and wherein: i) the said crystals have an average crystal size of from about 0.5 to about 15 mcm, ii) the said crystals are present in the said composition as individual crystals, agglomerations having an average particle size of less than about 15 mcm, or combinations of the said individual crystals and the said agglomerations; iii) the said crystals are aluminosilicate or silicoaluminophosphate with a structural type having the maximum ring size of eight tetrahedral atoms; and iv) the said SCR catalytic composition is substantially free of carboxylic acids, the said molecular sieve and agglomeration crystals are unmilled, the said porous coating is applied directly to the porous substrate without an intermediate non-catalytic coating and the porous-coated ceramic flow-through filter has microcracks that are empty.

EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in back pressure and/or an increase in the productivity of the catalyst.
