ENERGIZABLE OPHTHALMIC LENS WITH AN EVENT-BASED COLORATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G02C7/04

Abstract RU 2649086 C2

FIELD: medicine; optical system.

SUBSTANCE: ophthalmic lens comprises a soft lens portion, comprising a polymerized monomer reaction mixture, an event-based coloring mechanism providing a visual indication in the optical zone, and a carrier insert, contacting the soft lens portion and the coloring mechanism. In the second embodiment, the staining mechanism comprises a power source, a staining region connecting their conductive paths and the tubular portion in a chain with conductive paths, a power source and a staining section comprising a body and a layer of encapsulating material and capable of limiting the activation of the coloring portion. In the third embodiment, the carrier insert comprises a power source, coupled to the processor, and the dyeing mechanism comprises an optical fiber network and a lighting device connected to the power source and processor and capable of lighting the optical fiber network.

EFFECT: technical result is the provision of a coloring mechanism based on events.
