FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to frequency-selective devices of waveguide type. Tunable band-locked waveguide filter consists of a segment of a rectangular waveguide with flanges, a bushing interfaced with one of the wide sides of the waveguide, a tuned piston coupled to the sleeve by means of a threaded connection and forming with it a short-circuited coaxial line having constant predetermined heights of one long and two short diaphragms located respectively along a wide wall of the waveguide with flanges and across this wall symmetrically with respect to the sleeve, the transverse and longitudinal ends of all diaphragms are oblique at an angle, the coaxial line and the diaphragms are displaced from the center to the edges of the wide wall of a segment of a rectangular waveguide with flanges from the region of the maximum electric field strength to the region of its smaller values, and the tuning piston is made with an additional matching part located between the threaded and tuning parts, dimensions of which in relation to the dimensions of the tuning part are chosen so that a throttling connection is made.
EFFECT: technical result is high transmission coefficient outside rejection band, large amount of suppression in wide rejection band and high electrical strength.
