FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering, namely, to rejection waveguide filters. Invention is a tunable band-close waveguide filter consisting of a metal housing including a rectangular waveguide section with flanges, and made as cavity in metal housing resonator, having a shape close to truncated quadrangular pyramid, as smaller base of which there is communication hole in form of slot, simultaneously located also on wide wall of piece of rectangular waveguide with flanges perpendicular to its ribs, by means of which electrodynamic connection of resonator with piece of rectangular waveguide with flanges is performed, and larger base is made convex towards nearest wide wall of waveguide and is used for inserting by means of bushing into resonator of tuning piston, coupled with the bushing by means of a threaded connection and made with an additional matching part.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of suppression in short-wave part of millimetre range of wavelengths.
