SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the prevention of hydrate formation in gas-water systems and can be used in the oil and gas production and processing industries. Proposed method for preventing the formation of hydrates in a gas-water system involves determining the thermobaric parameters of the system, contact of a concentrated reagent with it , calculation according to the appropriate formula for the temperature range of preventing the formation of hydrates, starting from the temperature on their equilibrium line, additionally determine the water and reagent costs when the system is in dynamics, or their quantities, when the system is static, and the value of the temperature range is calculated by the formula.

EFFECT: method for preventing the formation of hydrates in a gas-water system is proposed.
