FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: loading mechanism of the test rig for the cable drive relates to devices for testing remote cable drive mechanisms. Mechanism contains an electric motor with a control unit that sets the drag force, a ball screw that converts the linear movement of the cable into rotation of the motor shaft, force sensors and angular displacement. Tracking system is introduced into the mechanism to force and move the connected cable end via force and displacement sensors, as well as a control board with programmable output parameters and integrated functions for converting sensor signals and matching the output signal and control signal. If it is used to simulate loads on the control cables of a manual transmission of a car, it consists of two independent frequency-controlled servo drives, where one servo drive is programmed to simulate loads on the cable selection line of gears, and the other to the transmission line.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the expansion of the functionality of the test stand without additional installation and re-adjustment of the equipment, which allows simulating various types of loading of the cable drive.
