FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electron beam surfacing and can be used to improve the corrosion resistance of steel, used for the manufacture of products in oil and gas chemistry and cryogenic equipment, operating under the influence of corrosive media, in particular for the production of condensers, heat exchangers, digesters, refining reactors, distillation of crude oil and gasoline, transportation and storage of liquid gases. Method for forming an anticorrosive coating of stainless steel on a low-carbon steel product includes applying onto the surface a mixture of flux powders and a powder, containing alloying elements in a ratio, providing a predetermined composition of the stainless steel coating, or a plate previously made of an alloy, containing alloying elements in a ratio sufficient to ensure a coating corresponding to the desired stainless steel grade, and performing electron-beam surfacing of the applied mixture or plate with a relativistic electron beam, wherein the total mass thickness of the powder placed on the surface is determined by the formula: σ=K⋅(E-b), where σ – mass thickness of the deposited powder [g⋅cm-2], K=0.4…0.5 [g⋅cm-2⋅MeV-1], E is the electron energy in the beam [MeV], b=0.3 [MeV].
EFFECT: invention is designed to create on the surface of products made of low-carbon steels a resistant anticorrosion coating, corresponding to the chemical composition of stainless steels, with increased corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids.
