FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for restoring and hardening parts that work in conditions of metal friction against metal in contact with a corrosive environment, for example, sealing surfaces of stop and throttling valves, end seals of contact pairs. Flux-cored wire consists of a steel shell and a powdered charge and contains components in the following ratio, wt%: ferrochrome 20–26; boron nitride 1.0–2.0; titanium diboride 1.0–2.0; zirconium diboride 1.0–2.0; sodium silicofluoride 0.5–1.0; iron powder 5.7–17.8; steel shell – the rest. Ferro-materials and pure metal powders are used for production of flux-cored wire. Composition of charge varies depending on deposition method including the alloying elements transition coefficients into the welded metal.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the wear resistance of the weld metal.
