FIELD: heat-resistant coatings production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing heat-resistant coatings based on iron aluminide and can be used to protect the surface of products operating under conditions of high-temperature gas corrosion. The method includes cleaning the surface of the product, heating it to 200-250°C and applying a coating with a thickness of 0.1-1.6 mm by arc metallization using a flux-cored wire consisting of a steel shell and a core made of a charge containing, wt.%: aluminum 15-20, iron - the rest.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the heat resistance of products operating under conditions of high-temperature gas corrosion.
