SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method and system for compiling media content elements for the media platform upon request for rental by users of the media platform upon request. Proposed method uses the combination of the advisory system in order to select the appropriate set of media content elements to be offered during the next service period, and the predictor of the number of rents in order to assess how many videos the individual users will rent in the next service period. In addition, the method and system can be performed in order to estimate the profit or loss from leasing for the specified service period, as well as to assess customer satisfaction.
EFFECT: technical result is the automatic compilation of media content elements for the media platform upon request.
