BIOMASS TREATMENT Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C12P19/02 B01J19/08 C08H8/00 C13K1/02 C12R1/885

Abstract RU 2649366 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology area and specifically to biomass treatment. Method for producing an animal feed comprising a cellulosic or lignocellulosic material and one or more enzymes is provided. Cellulose or lignocellulosic material is treated by exposing to the electron beam from 5 Mrad to 100 Mrad to reduce the inflexibility of the cellulosic or lignocellulosic material and average molecular weight from 250,000–10,000,000 Da to 3,000–50,000 Da. Treated cellulose or lignocellulosic material is inoculated with Trichoderma microorganism selected for the purpose of utilizing the treated cellulosic or lignocellulosic material to obtain an enzyme. Resulting inoculated material is held under conditions, which allow a Trichoderma microorganism to produce an enzyme. Inoculated material is condensed and dried to produce animal feed.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a material that has a nutrients availability exceeding the availability of nutrients of the initial biomass.
