FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and specifically to biomass treatment. Method of producing ferment was offered. Biomass material is irradiated by exposing the lignocellulosic biomass material to an irradiating electron beam, in which the irradiating electron beam reduces the average molecular weight from 250,000–1,000,000 Da to 3,000–50,000 Da. Irradiated biomass material is inoculated with a Trichoderma microorganism selected for the purpose of utilizing the irradiated biomass material to obtain an enzyme. Inoculated biomass is held under the conditions of a serial fermentation process with make-up and in conditions which allow a Trichoderma microorganism to produce an enzyme.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the level of enzymes produced by microorganism.
