SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method of obtaining animal feed includes: splitting biomass obtained from a genetically modified plant, where fragmentation includes grinding, cutting, crushing, crushing or rubbing, to obtain crushed biomass, and processing crushed biomass, where the processing involves electron beam irradiation with a dose ranging from 5 to 100 Mrad, at a power of 5 to 500 kW, to obtain a treated material having a number average molecular weight of 3,000 to 50,000 Dalton, and compacting and drying the treated material to produce animal feed.
EFFECT: invention allows to expand the arsenal of methods for obtaining animal feed.
