FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a two-deck complex of gadolinium with tetrabenzoporphyrin. As a reagent for producing the complexes, 3-[(1-oxo-1H-isoindole-3-yl)methylene]-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindole-1-one, prepared in one step by reacting phthalimide with zinc acetate at the temperature of 230–240 °C for 20–30 minutes, which is then fused with sodium acetate and a gadolinium salt at the temperature of 320–350 °C for 50–60 minutes. Isolation and purification of the target product is carried out by chromatography.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the yield of the target product and to shorten the duration of the process.
