FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing lutetium and gadolinium complexes with tetrabenzoporphyrin. Method involves reaction of phthalimide with zinc acetate at 230-240°C for 20-30 minutes. Obtained 1-[(oxo-1H-isoindol-3-yl)methylene]-isoindoline-3-on is melted with rare-earth element salt and sodium acetate trihydrate at temperature 350-360°C for 40-50 minutes. End products are separated and purified by chromatography.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduced number of steps, increased output of end products and high degree of their purity.
