FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectrometry basing on an analysis of the mobility of ions and can be used for identifying substances. Sampling probe for an ion mobility spectrometry device comprises a housing having an inlet intended for the introduction of a fluid, for example an air flow, from the environment. Inlet closing assembly also comprises a sealing element, which limits the inlet passage being in fluid communication with the inlet limited by the housing. Inlet closing assembly also includes a spool that is adapted to abut against the sealing element. Spool is designed able to block the inlet passage in the abut position. Inlet closing assembly also includes a drive element configured able to move the spool to an adjacent engagement with the sealing element and from the adjacent engagement with the sealing element. Inlet closing assembly also comprises a holding element for holding the spool in the adjacent engagement with the sealing element when the spool is positioned so that it blocks the inlet. Holding element may be made using a magnet or a spring.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of identifying substances.
