FIELD: spectrometry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectrometry. Steam generator for a detection device comprises a source of steam connected by a flow channel and intended to supply steam through a locking means to an outlet for supplying steam to the detection device. Locking means comprises a first vapor-permeable channel and a receiver. First vapor-permeable material is made able to prevent diffusion of steam from the source to the outlet and with the possibility of a forced displacement of steam from the source to the outlet. Receiver is separated from the outlet by the first vapor-permeable channel. Herewith the receiver comprises a material adapted to absorb vapor and is made able to redirect the steam diffusion from the outlet. Said flow channel comprises a branch that connects the vapor source to the first vapor-permeable channel and a closed branch containing the said receiver. Steam generator comprises an evaporating chamber configured able to produce steam and a vapor absorption assembly. Vapor absorption assembly includes a first vapor-permeable channel having an outlet and at least one second vapor-permeable channel that is closed. Vapor absorption assembly is configured able to receive vapor flows from the evaporating chamber. Herewith, when the vapor flow enters, it passes through the first vapor-permeable channel to the said outlet at least substantially without vapor absorption from the vapor flow, and when the vapor flow does not come from the evaporating chamber, the flow entering the vapor absorption assembly from the evaporating chamber enters the first vapor-permeable channel and into the said at least one second vapor-permeable channel and is at least substantially absorbed. Vapor absorption assembly further comprises a vapor absorbing material. Moreover, at least one of the first vapor-permeable channel and of the said at least one second vapor-permeable channel at least partially pass through the vapor-absorbing material providing absorption of steam by the vapor-absorbing material.

EFFECT: effective capture of steam by the steam generator is ensured.
