ULTRA-WIDE BAND COAXIAL PHASE SHIFTER Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H01P1/18 H01R24/38

Abstract RU 2649678 C1

FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to phase shifters. Ultra-wide-band coaxial phase shifter contains central and external conductors with sliding contacts. Two parts of a coaxial channel with the same wave impedance are formed by two central conductors, each of which is pressed into a dielectric bead pressed into a centering ring, and by the inner surfaces of the first and second connecting bushings, a bushing with lamellae and a tuning bushing. Along the length of the coaxial channel, the central conductors are provided with compensating shifts relative to the external conductors, at the places of sudden change of the latter. First connecting bushing is screwed into a cylindrical metal case on its one side, and on its other side, an adjusting nut is fixed by a locking ring, in which the tuning bushing is screwed, onto which the second connecting bushing is screwed. Through hole of the case is made with a step-changing diameter, the bushing with lamellae is pressed against the inner step of the case by the first connecting bushing through the first centering ring, the outer surface of the bushing with the help of lamellae forms a sliding contact of the external conductors with the inner surface of the tuning bushing. Second centering ring is pressed against the second connecting bushing by a tuning bushing.

EFFECT: expansion of the operating frequency range of the coaxial phase shifter.
