SUBSTANCE: invention relates to attenuators. A medium-power ultra-wideband coaxial fixed attenuator consists of three sections connected in series, two of which are coaxial waveguides with connectors at the ends, and the third is formed by a central bushing with adjusting screws, compressed by the waveguide sections, in which a dielectric substrate is suspended in longitudinal grooves. The outer conductors are formed by the inner metal surfaces of the bushings-connectors, locating rings, central and clamping sleeves, and the inner conductors are formed by the outer metal surfaces of the rods included in the assemblies of the central conductors of the first and second segments of coaxial segments formed by the mounting rings in which dielectric support washers are coaxially installed with rods coaxially located in them, forming electromechanical contact with the ends of the dielectric substrate using coaxial-microplane transitions. The compression bushings with one end press the locating rings against the inner steps of the bush-connectors, while the others rest against the central bushing located in the through-stepped hole of the radiator housing.
