FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pipe coupling (1) which comprises a socket connector (2) with a housing (3) into which a plug connector (6) having a bushing (7) is axially inserted, and a connecting element (10), which transversely extends inside the socket connector (2) housing (3). Coupling element (10) is designed for mechanically connection to the bushing (7) during the plug connector (6) insertion and to move laterally by gravity towards the socket connector (2) internal part. Coupling element (10) includes a closing hook (16) which interacts with the locking latch (12) provided in the socket connector (2), and the hook (16) passes the latch (12) as a result of the bushing (7) mechanical engagement, which leads to the coupling element (10) axial and radial elastic deformation. Hook (16) is closing on the latch (12) when the coupling element (10) is fully pressed-in into the socket connector (2).
EFFECT: invention improves coupling reliability.
