SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and apparatus for diagnosing a mobile communication network. Method includes receiving, by the network element device, quality of service information sent by a plurality of network element devices including a base station and a primary network device and located in the overhead data service transmission path; determining service quality of the service data service transmission path based on the quality of service information sent by the plurality of network element devices; sending by the network element control device the signaling activation of the end-to-end trace session to the network control element, the signaling activation of the end-to-end trace session contains diagnostic data, so that the network control element sends diagnostic data to the plurality of network element devices; or sending an end-to-end session activation signaling to the subscriber server, so that after the subscriber server sends the diagnostic measurement data to the network control element, the network control element sends the specified data to the plurality of network element devices.

EFFECT: technical result is the effective determination of the quality of the transmission service.
