SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to ophthalmology, and is a method for diagnosing eye diseases, including the study of tears by a crystallographic method, characterized by the fact that fern-like structure is found in the crystalline structure of the lacrimal fluid, the mean value of the central branch width is determined in the second third of its length and the average value of angles between this branch and the appendages from it and at an average value of central branch width equal to 8–11 mcm, conclusion on iridocyclitis is made, at a value of 12–15 mcm conclusion on keratitis is made, with the mean angle between the central branch and the appendage, equal to 97–101°, conclusion on myopia is made, and at a value of 93–96° conclusion on emmetropia is made.
EFFECT: invention extends the functionality of diagnostics of eye diseases.
