FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: method is characterised by analysis of infrared spectrum of dry residual of lacrimal gland performed at silica support in wave length 500-3500cm-1 before and after treatment in patients with different cornea abnormalities, the comparison is performed with the control healthy subjects, the particular IR spectral bands are evaluated in different abnormalities, the area of absorption peaks with particular wave length as well as their ratio in different cornea abnormalities, depending on etiology and severity, are calculated.
EFFECT: method is simple and doesn't require time and labor consuming processing of obtained results.
