FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of medicine and is intended for treatment of wounds and/or for use in surgical operations. Antiseptic composition contains one or more antiseptics, about 5 to about 10 % by weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) with a molecular weight in the range of 1,000,000 to 3,000,000 Da, from about 3 to about 7 % by weight of unitiol, from about 0.5 to about 2 % by weight of dimethylsulfoxide, and from about 0.1 to about 7 % by weight one or more anesthetics based on the total weight of the composition, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. This composition is used as a wound treatment agent by applying it to the wound surface.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides an effective antiseptic composition, which forms a film on the wound surface and has antiseptic, analgetic and antitoxic action.
