FIELD: dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a therapeutic composition providing oral hygiene. Disclosed composition has a complex remineralizing, polishing, reducing sensitivity of teeth to negative external influences and after such effects. Composition is made in form of paste and contains as active ingredients an aqueous suspension of hydroxyapatite with a concentration of hydroxyapatite of 15–20% and a particle size of 100–220 mcm and amorphous silicon dioxide with a particle size of 0.5–3 mcm, where the amount of amorphous silicon dioxide is 8–19 wt.%, the amount of the aqueous suspension of hydroxyapatite is 25–55 wt.%, quantitative ratio of aqueous suspension of hydroxyapatite and amorphous silicon dioxide is from 10:1 to 1:1 by weight; composition contains at least one auxiliary substance.
EFFECT: composition provides high level of enamel cleaning, is characterized by acceptable values of abrasiveness, effectively polishes enamel and has a significant effect of reducing teeth sensitivity after polishing with a single use of the agent.
