SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to chemical and pharmaceutical industry and is a method of preparing a therapeutic composition and the composition itself for the treatment of conditions involving monocytes and/or macrophages, wherein the composition comprising a plurality of liposomes is prepared as follows: (a) mixing the solution containing the bisphosphonate with a solution containing lipids containing DSPC, DSPG and cholesterol in a molar ratio of 3:1:2, with formation of vesicles, such that the weight ratio of said bisphosphonate to lipid is from 1:5 to 1:8, (b) extruding said vesicles in one step through a filter having a pore size of 100 nm, and (c) ultrafiltration of the vesicles.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to increase the homogeneity and stability of the composition with a number of required physical characteristics that can be controlled independently of each other.
