FIELD: veterinary.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to method for determining the type of higher nervous activity in domestic cats by developing and altering the motor-food stereotype to the position of the bowls with the fixation of the time, behavior and trajectory of the animal's movement. Experiments are conducted in a territory known to the domestic cat, where it usually does not eat. On the second and third day of the experiment, the alteration of the motor-food stereotype is carried out, and according to the results obtained, four types of higher nervous activity are diagnosed, namely, a strong, balanced mobile type (I type of GNI), a strong balanced inert (type II GNI), a strong unbalanced (III type of GNI), and a weak (IV type of GNI).
EFFECT: use of the invention will quickly and effectively determine the type of nervous activity in a cat.
