FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing animals to stress factor in process of mechanical milking and measuring lactation reflex based on conditioned and unconditioned reflex inhibition intensity. Lactation output dynamics is represented by intensity cycles, each of which including excitation and inhibition stages, determined from time needed to get sequentially milked milk portions (50 g). The conditional lactation output component is determined from the ratio of lactation output intensity in the first minute to average one. Added conditioned and unconditioned inhibition intensity of lactation reflex is calculated taking into consideration the number of lactation mobility cycles in the first two minutes. The degree of milking completeness is determined based on the observed quantity of secreted milk and its concentration in the secretion. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of the estimated values. 2 cl, 2 tbl
