FIELD: modular systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a modular system, in particular for exhibition booths, and is aimed at improving their structural rigidity. Modular system contains wall modules and connecting elements. Each of the wall modules has wall surfaces opposite to each other, the front surface and the rear surface opposite to the front surface and contact surfaces opposite to each other. Connecting elements are designed to connect the wall modules to each other and have an L-shaped, a T-shaped or an X-shaped cross-sectional surface. Wall modules have a recess for receiving a section of the connecting elements matched to the shape of the recess. Recess, starting from the contact surface, on one side of the wall module extends towards the opposite contact surface on the other side of the wall module. Wall module extends in the direction from one wall surface to the opposing wall surface. Length of the sections of the connecting elements, when inserted into the recess of the wall module, in the direction perpendicular to the opposite wall surfaces of the wall module corresponds to the distance between the opposite wall surfaces of the wall module, so that in the assembled state of the modular system there is also a flat, infinitely variable material surface in the area of the recess. In the recess of the wall module a pin is provided that extends in the direction of direct connection between the contact surfaces. Connecting element has a section with an opening for receiving the pin with an accurate fit.
