ELECTRO-STIMULATION DEVICE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61N1/36

Abstract RU 2650042 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Electro-stimulation device of an additional motor zone, the premotor and/or subthalamic nucleus through the ear muscles contains electrodes, which send and receive electrical signals, control unit, ground electrode. Control unit generates stimulating signals with a frequency of 2-200 Hz to reduce dormancy activity, such as tremor. Electrodes are designed to be attached to the inner ear muscles, such as the large muscle of helix, small muscle of helix, muscle of tragus, muscle of antitragus, to provide a stimulating contact to stimulate an additional motor zone, premotor zone and/or subthalamic nucleus. Device further comprises a sensory unit for receiving data from the patient. Sensor unit uses electrodes to receive signals passing through the muscles, to which these electrodes are attached to determine the intensity of the perturbation signals by measuring signals, passing through the muscles during the rest period. Stimulation signal is corrected after measuring the levels of the perturbation signals so that it can compensate these disturbance signals.

EFFECT: change in the intensity of electrical stimulation along with the tremor intensity is achieved.
