FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to system of electrodes for deep stimulation of brain, containing elongated probe case with multiple stimulating electrodes. Stimulating electrodes are distributed on probe case axis in such a way that their diametre 2r equals or is larger than their length on h axis. System also contains controller for selective generation of configurations of electric potentials, which are shifted in axial direction relative to stimulating electrodes. System of electrodes is made with possibility of gradual displacement of stimulating probe distribution along probe in step-by-step manner between successive groups of electrodes, and thus provides possibility of smooth regulation of activation volume form by changing number of activated electrodes. Method of manufacturing said system of electrodes includes manufacturing sheet of insulating material with, at least, one in-built electric wire, with strap, containing free end of wire being cut out in insulating material, and wrapping sheet around probe case.
EFFECT: application of invention will make it possible to ensure high accuracy of regulation of stimulating field distribution due to displacement of stimulating field distribution along probe in step-by-step manner between successive groups of electrodes, as well as will provide possibility of smooth regulation of activation volume form by changing number of activated electrodes.
