SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering and can be used as a propulsor in wheelchairs to overcome staircases of common use. Screw propeller contains a cylindrical rotor with a screw crest. Screw ridge is made by a multi-drop, which is a system of variator belts with molded teeth fixed on the cylinder. Between the variator belts in the cylinder, two rows of holes are made, through which the windings of elastic springs are missed, protruding above the cylindrical rotor are larger than the teeth of the variator belts.

EFFECT: expansion of the functionality of the screw propeller in wheelchairs when moving on hard surfaces, as well as in overcoming stair flights of common use is achieved.
