SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screw propulsion units. Screw propulsion unit comprises a hollow cylindrical rotor with a screw ridge, equipped with a rotation mechanism, and a swivel head. Screw incomplete ridge of elastomer material is multi-threaded as cutter with chip grooves, not parallel to axis of rotation, extended from cylindrical rotor towards support surface.
EFFECT: enabling the design simplification.
