FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of communication, more particularly to communication devices, in particular to an antenna unit for a telecommunication device and to a telecommunications device, which can be used in communication networks of the 5th generation. Antenna unit, configured to wirelessly communicate, comprising a dielectric substrate, a dielectric coating on a dielectric substrate, antenna array comprising antenna elements, arranged in the dielectric substrate, and configured to generate radiation and transmit radiation to create a traveling wave, propagating along the dielectric substrate and dielectric coating, spatial adjustment elements with a dielectric coating, made in a dielectric substrate and associated with the antenna elements, wherein said spatial adjustment elements are arranged to spatially align the array antenna with the dielectric coating and to reduce the reflection of radiation from the dielectric coating during propagation of radiation from the antenna array.
EFFECT: technical result is formation of antenna radiation direction, increased scan range, increased efficiency of a millimetric range antenna, and reduced signal loss.
