FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves heating the anode before placing it in electrolyte melt. Heating is performed in hermetic volume by means of high frequency current of 20-120 MHz to anode surface temperature of 350-800°C.
EFFECT: acceleration of anode surface layer heating with elimination of heat loss.
