FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of aircraft instrumentation and can be used to measure wind parameters on board of the aircraft. Essence of the inventions consists in that, by means of two sensors for measuring the pressure of the oncoming airflow, the receiving channels of which are located at identical angles mirror-symmetrically relative to the axis of the rotary low-inertia device, the pressure of the wind flow is recorded, the signals from the sensors are fed to the synchronous servo of the turntable low-inertia device in such a way that its measuring axis invariably coincides with the direction of the incoming airflow and with the direction of the true speed vector of the aircraft, and, at known parameters of the true speed vector, as well as at the values of the ground speed measured by any method, instantaneous values of wind speed and direction are calculated.
EFFECT: technical result is the increase of aerodynamic safety and expansion of the nomenclature of flight and navigation instruments of aircraft.
