FIELD: environmental control, decontamination of soil from newly formed or inveterate spreads of oil and oil products. SUBSTANCE: soil fouled with oil products is mixed up with thermally split graphite, water is added and sorbent floating up together with oil products absorbed by it is separated. Mixing of soil with sorbent can be conducted on the ground with the use of agricultural or road machines or in mixing vessels. To raise the rate of process treatment of inveterate spreads of oil products can be performed with addition of extraction agent- diluent, for instance, kerosene, or can be accompanied by cavitation action or can be carried out by combination of both techniques. Thermally split graphite can be regenerated many times by way of sublimation, extraction or pressing of sorbed oil products. EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of process. 5 cl
