FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for production of porous particles comprising at least one polyimide, to porous particles, as well as articles and materials containing porous particles. Method for production of porous particles is that an interaction reaction of at least one polyisocyanate containing on average at least two isocyanate groups per molecule is carried out, and at least one polycarboxylic acid containing at least two COOH groups per molecule or an anhydride thereof. Reaction is carried out in presence of at least one solvent, water as a catalyst and, if necessary, at least one additional additive for precipitating the polyimide in the solvent. Porous particles are used to produce parts, casings and foams.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain porous particles with high porosity, low density, high mechanical strength, improved thermal conductivity.
