FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: use to obtain an ultrasound image of an object. Core of the invention is that an ultrasound diagnostic imaging system creates spatially composite images in a trapezoidal sector by combining constituent frames collected from different directions of observation. Scanning format in the virtual apex mode is applied so that each scanning line of the constituent frame starts from a different point (E1, En) on the working surface of the matrix converter and is sent at a different scanning angle. For different constituent frames the scanning lines are directed at appropriately different angles. In the example shown, the scanning lines of each constituent frame are further deflected by five degrees relative to the respective scanning lines in the reference constituent frame. When the constituent frames are combined for spatial compilation, the maximum number of constituent frames is merged by, in fact, the entire image field.
EFFECT: higher quality of the ultrasound image of an object.
