FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to ultrasonic diagnostic systems imaging, in particular to use of ultrasonic visualization of deformations for assessing ischemic heart areas affected by infarction. Ultrasonic diagnostic system comprises a probe for ultrasonic imaging having a matrix sensor, an image processor connected to the imaging probe and configured to generate a first sequence of image frames, a deformation calculator connected to the image processor and configured to process image frames to estimate deformation during first sequence of image frames, color mapper, configured to generate a color map at least in part based on deformation values provided by the deformation calculator, as well as a color map converter responsive to the color map and a new sequence of image frames generated by the image processor, wherein the color map converter is configured to convert the color map to a frame of the new sequence image to create a transformed color map, and a display for displaying an image frame in combination with the converted color map. Method for creating ultrasound images comprises acquiring image frames containing image echo data, estimating tissue offset between obtained frames from image echo data, calculating strain values at least partially based on tissue displacement, forming a color map of strain values, obtaining additional image frames containing image echo data, converting the color map to additional frames, as well as display of additional frames combined with converted color maps.
EFFECT: using the inventions makes it possible to increase sensitivity of diagnosing local activity of the heart.
