FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydro-acoustics and is intended for determination of parameters of noisy objects in sea. Disclosed is a device comprising a multi-element acoustic receiving antenna for noise direction-finding, a directional characteristics in the horizontal and vertical planes fan forming unit, band-pass filtering unit, a detector, a storage, an object detection unit with direction detection thereto, sound speed vertical section measuring unit, a field calculating unit, a two-dimensional similarity degree function generation unit, a joint distance and depth determination unit, a noise level determination unit. Device is supplemented with new blocks, namely the measurement levels matrix forming block and the block for forecast levels matrix forming along a distance-depth grid.
EFFECT: increasing the received information accuracy about the noisy object in the sea, which is achieved by reducing the influence of vertically anisotropic distributed interference.
