FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, surgery, traumatology, plastic surgery, combustiology, and can be used in patients with wounds on the head of various origins and their consequences. For this purpose, a dilated tracheostomy, a gastric probe, a tamponade of the nose and oral cavity are preliminarily performed. Additionally, suture of eyelids is performed and, according to indications, cutaneous autoplasty. Then, a pressure bandage is applied to the wound of the head with Kerlix AMD gauze by Lohmann & Rauscher concern. After that, the bag for the vacuum system Suprasorb CNP Easy Dress by Lohmann & Rauscher concern is put on and a vacuum device is connected through the drain-connector.
EFFECT: method provides an improvement in the functional and cosmetic results of surgical treatment of wounds on the head due to the use of a vacuum dressing, which causes a tight contact of the graft with the bottom of the wound, excluding the dislocation of the dressings and the violation of their integrity.
