FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in the presence of a burn in a projection of trachea, 2-3 days later, a necrectomy is performed over an area of 0.5% body surface within healthy tissues in depth. A single-step autodermoplasty is performed. After the autodermograft has been accepted, a tracheostomy is performed through the repaired skin. A percutaneous dilatation tracheostomy is performed in adult patients, whereas a surgical tracheostomy is preferred for children.
EFFECT: method enables improving the therapeutic approach to the patients with an inhalation injury combined with neck burns, reducing the length of skin repair, operative injuries and duration of medical-social rehabilitation considerably, minimising a risk of pyoinflammatory complications by preliminary performing necrectomy within neck burns and autodermoplasty and tracheostomy through the repaired skin.
